the difference with petruchio and katherine in behaviour

petruchio is a very confident and rich , i knew this when he said “have i not in my time heard lions rawr?have i not herd the sea, puffed up with wind, rage like an angry boar chafed with sweat”.

katherine is a women with nounterest in a man/husband and is very indepenent she is also a daughter of a very reach dad.

putrichio gets told about katherine from two men than want to marry her sister but unfortunatly cant because her dad said she can not be married until katherine is.

when putrchio meets katherine he tries to flirt with her but when she replies back he cleverlly, he then takes as a insult then tries to talk cleverally with her , but then she uses metaphors such as “a bee stings in its toungue”,a bee doesnt really sting with its toungue but she is showing that she can use her tongue to defend her self intelligently.this situation is in act2 scene 1

petruchio:come, come you wasp!  i’faith you are too angry.

katherine:if i be waspish, best beaware of my sting.

petruchio:my remedy is then to pluck it out

katherine:ay,if the fool could find where it lies.

petruchio:who knows not where a wasp does wear his sting.

katherine: in his toungue.

putruchio:whoes toungue.

katherine:yours,if you talk of tales, and so farewell.

petruchio:what,my toungue in you tail?,ay, come again.

this shows that she has go thim lost in words and she is more better with them.

I’m definitely seeing that you’re understanding the initial developments of the play. This is a good start.

It would be good for you to look into Petruchio’s behaviour as the play progresses and see if it is (in your opinion) better or worse than Katharina’s.

Keep moving forward with your scene description, keeping a record of events as they progress.

    Nice work.
